What does this favicon checker do?

Why can a favicon appear in the browser tab but not in Google Search?
Browsers are often more tolerant than search crawlers. Google may ignore a favicon due to robots blocking, invalid tag configuration, unsupported or mismatched MIME declarations, unstable href paths, or fallback conflicts.
Does this tool check both declared favicon links and /favicon.ico?
